Does the QR menu work without an app?
Yes. Customers scan the QR with the native phone camera and the menu opens in their browser. No app to download.
Can I print the QR myself?
Yes. We provide a print-ready PDF and PNG with your logo. Most clients laminate it on table tents or stick it to the back of the menu cover.
Will the menu work for fine-dining and tasting menus?
Yes. You can hide the “add to cart” feature and use AppCarta as a beautifully typeset digital menu only. Tasting menus, paired wines and chef’s notes are all supported.
Is the menu compliant with Spanish food law?
Yes. AppCarta covers RD 1169/2011 (allergens), the new Spanish law on food waste prevention (2026 doggy-bag offer) and shows prices including VAT (IVA) as required by Spanish consumer law.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The menu can be served from menu.yourrestaurant.com with HTTPS by default. We handle the DNS instructions.
