Frequently asked questions

Do customers really add cards to Apple Wallet?

Yes. The “add to Wallet” conversion in our customer base sits at 60-70% when offered at the point of sale, vs. 5-10% for branded restaurant apps. Wallet is the closest thing to “zero-install loyalty”.

Can I send push notifications?

Yes, native Wallet push notifications. They appear on the lock screen and in the Wallet app. Use them sparingly: birthday rewards, expiring offers, “you’re close to your free dish”.

What about Android users without Google Wallet?

Loyalty cards are also accessible from a regular web link (PWA). Customers without Wallet open the card in the browser; we still send updates by email or SMS.

Can my staff cheat the stamps?

Each stamp action is logged with employee ID and timestamp. You can set a max stamps/day per employee and review the full audit trail at any time. NFC pairs with the customer’s phone, so blind self-stamping is impossible.

Is the loyalty card branded with my restaurant?

Yes. Logo, brand colours and even the strip image inside Apple Wallet are configurable. The card looks like it belongs to your brand, not to ours.
